Meet the Characters from A Harmless Lie and a Dangerous Spy

A Harmless Lie and a Dangerous Spy comes out in three weeks! So, today seems like a good day to introduce all of the characters. There’s a little bit of everything: spies, aristocracy, and their servants.

Here are some of the main characters:

  1. Lady Caroline
The daughter of an Earl, she doesn’t want to marry the gross older man her parents have chosen. She’s eighteen. Can’t really blame her.
  2. Jerry, Viscount St. David
This is Jerry, Viscount St. David. He’s twenty-two, the Duke of Danvers’s heir, and on the trail of a Russian spy. He’s also hot. Just incidentally.
  3. Wellburn
Jerry’s manservant, Wellburn, is more than he seems. He might be a sartorial master, but he has other useful skills that might come in handy.
  4. Olive
Caroline’s maid and closest friend. She’s determined to help Caroline in her adventures, but only if she can survive the sea voyage to New York City.
  5. Mrs. Turnton
A member of British Society married to an American millionaire. (Shocking lapse of judgement.) Although she seems nothing more than a harmless gossip, her eyes miss nothing, and she may be more than she appears to be.
  6. A Russian Agent
We don’t actually know who he is, only that he stole some bayonet plans from the British that are key to the Crimean War effort. Tsk tsk.

To learn more about these characters, you can download the Sneak Peek (first 6 chapters) here. Only 3 more weeks until the full book comes out!

Like, comment, share, and tell me what you think. These were fun to make, and I’d love to hear if others enjoyed them.
